Hand Tool Testing Lab

Hand Tool testing Lab is BIS appoved only lab in the Country. This lab is providing the facilities of complete testing as per Indian Standards for the following hand tools:-

• Open jaw wrenches IS 2028:2004 (RA 2019)
• Ring wrenches spanners IS 2029:1980 (RA 2019)
• Multiple slip-joint pliers IS 6118:2017 (RA 2021)
• Single-ended open jaw adjustable wrenches IS 6149:1984 (RA 2021)
• Combination slide cutting pliers IS 3650:1981 (RA 2021)
• Bench vices as per IS 2586 : 1986 (RA 2019)
• Engeenering files as per IS 1931 : 2000 (RA 2021)
• Shovels as per IS 274 : 1981 (Part I&II); RA - 2019
• Picks & Beaters as per IS 273 : 1990 (RA 2019)
• Pipe Wrenches as per IS 4003 (Part - I) : 1978 (RA - 2016)


Lab is also providing complete torque testing of PTO Shaft, Propeller Shaft and Insulation Testing of Hand Tools by using high voltage insulation tester.
