" With immense pleasure and proud we announce that IAHT has operationalized the new Industrial Radiography Testing Facility (Industrial X-Ray Tube, Model: SMART XPO EVO 225D; Make: COMET, Denmark) with the consent of AERB, Bombay (AERB Type Approval Certificate: 24-COMSUPPNOCTA -1200025 & Consent to Operate Certificate:24-PTORCPT- 1200077). This machine is capable of conducting the Radiography Inspection / Testing up to 50mm of steel.

This facility procured in the MHI Project: Augmentation of Existing Testing, Inspection, Calibration and Additive Technology Laboratories” of IAHT Ludhiana under Capital Good Sector Scheme titled “Scheme for Enhancement of Competitiveness in the Indian Capital Goods Sector – Phase-II”; component “Augmenting the Existing Testing and Certification Centers (2022-2025)”.
