Testing & Evaluation Laboratory equipped with latest, precise and state of art material characterization in the field of Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgical and Non Destructive evaluation of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

The Lab having 7 Base Spark Emission Spectrometer (i.e. Ferrous, Copper, Nickel, Zinc, Aluminium, Titanium and Cobalt), Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer to identify the Hazardous Substances, Metallography and Failure Analysis with Metallurgical Microscope. Lab also has Universal Testing Machine (UTM) from range of 2.5 KN to 2000 KN and performs various static and dynamic mechanical testing on ferrous and non-ferrous material, the Non-Destructive evaluation lab has BARC/AERB approval for industrial radiography facility. Lab also has facility of Inter Granular Corrosion Test of Stainless Steels by Wet Analysis, PMI (Positive Material Identification) etc.

Testing & Evaluation Laboratory has following accreditation, certification and recognition from following:

• NABL as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• BIS recognition as per BIS/LRS/2018.
• BARC/AERB, Govt. of India approved lab for industrial radiography.

Also, an approved testing center for RITES, RDSO, PSPCL, State electricity board, BHEL, SGS India etc.

The lab performs testing as per various national & international standards like IS/ ISO, ASTM, DIN, JIS on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

Lab also has the BIS approval for the testing of various Steel Products, Hand Tools etc. Some of them are given below:

• Hot rolled carbon steel bars, sheets, plates and strips
• Carbon steel billets, blooms, slabs and bars for forging,
• Hot rolled medium and high tensile structural steel,
• Steel chequered plates
• Cold rolled steel strips
